About the club
Passionate about Model Aviation
Tibenham RC Jet & Model Flyers is a friendly, welcoming club based at the historic Tibenham Airfield in Norfolk. We bring together hobbyists of all skill levels who share a love of building and flying radio-controlled model aircraft.
From classic balsa-built gliders and vintage warbirds to high-speed turbine-powered jets, our members fly a huge variety of aircraft. The only requirement is a passion for the hobby and a willingness to share it with others.
We operate under BMFA rules and guidelines, ensuring safe and enjoyable flying for everyone at the field.

RC Jets
Turbine-powered jets are our speciality â fast, loud, and spectacular to watch.
Warbirds
Beautifully detailed scale replicas of classic WWII and modern military aircraft.
Gliders
Elegant and serene â glider pilots make the most of thermals over the Norfolk countryside.
Scratch Builds
Many of our members design and build their own aircraft from scratch. All are welcome.
Join us
Membership
New members are always welcome. If you're interested in joining, simply come along on any flying day and introduce yourself. There's no pressure â come and watch, ask questions, and get a feel for the club.
Full membership includes access to the Tibenham Airfield, participation in all club events, and support from experienced flyers. We ask all members to hold a current BMFA membership.
BMFA Affiliated
We're fully affiliated with the British Model Flying Association.
Training Available
Experienced instructors on hand to help new pilots get started.
Fly Year Round
We fly throughout the year, weather permitting.
Great Atmosphere
